Alter Eco on Bean-to-Bar Chocolate and New Product Reveals

Chocolate that’s clean, green and delicious.

While at Expo West this week, Seeing Green visited Alter Eco to see what the company is showcasing at the show and to learn about some of its newest product innovations.

Alter Eco is known for its bean-to-bar approach to sustainability, sourcing regeneratively grown cacao, paying farmers above Fair Trade prices and packaging many of its products in backyard-compostable wrappers.

In this conversation, we explore Alter Eco’s new recyclable advent calendar filled with its signature truffles, along with new oat clusters that combine the brand’s chocolate and granola expertise. We also get a look at several new chocolate bars, including passion fruit cream truffle thins and a sweet ginger variety.
