Why We Noticed
The best Halloween treats are the ones kids can enjoy together.
That’s the idea behind Free2b’s Halloween lineup. Its chocolate Sun Cups are designed to sit right alongside the traditional Halloween favorites while giving families managing food allergies another treat more kids can safely enjoy.
It’s something Free2b talked with us about when we caught up with the brand at Sweets & Snacks Expo. Halloween can be tricky for kids with food allergies, who may come home with plenty of candy they can’t actually eat. Free2b wants to make the candy bowl a little more inclusive from the start.
And, as Free2b put it during our interview, the goal is simple: “just really good candy that kids enjoy together.”

Free2b makes its treats in its own dedicated allergy-friendly facility. The brand says its products are Top 9 allergen-free, vegan, gluten-free, Non-GMO Project Verified and Kosher.

Apparently plenty of people have already made room in their candy bowls: the seasonal Bag O’ Treats are currently sold out on Free2b’s own website.
But with Halloween just days away, they’re not necessarily gone for the season. Free2b also distributes the Bag O’ Treats through retailers including Amazon, Fresh Thyme, Fred Meyer, MOM’s Organic Market, PCC Community Markets and Thrive Market, along with select locations of Publix, Wegmans, Hy-Vee, QFC and other regional retailers.
And as of Wednesday morning (10/28), we found the Halloween pack still available on Amazon with delivery listed for Oct. 30 (for Prime). Availability and delivery timing can vary, of course, so consider this your cue to check sooner rather than later.
Free2b also offers individually wrapped Minis Cups, another bite-sized option for trick-or-treaters.
