Inside Expo West: Wild Earth Showcases Cleaner, Greener Nutrition for Dogs and Cats

While at Natural Products Expo West, Seeing Green spoke with Wild Earth about the company’s mission to rethink pet nutrition with plant-based proteins designed for dogs and cats.

Instead of relying on traditional animal ingredients, Wild Earth formulates its foods using alternative proteins to support pet health while dramatically reducing the environmental footprint associated with conventional pet food production. Wild Earth offers a range of vegan pet foods and treats, including dog food, cat food and snacks in flavors like peanut butter, banana and strawberry.

The brand focuses on delivering nutritionally complete meals while helping address common pet issues like itching and allergies that can sometimes be linked to traditional animal-based ingredients. The company currently sells direct-to-consumer through its website, offering subscription options that make it easy for pet owners to regularly receive food and treats for their pets.
