Inside Expo West: Abe’s Muffins on Allergy-Friendly School Treats

Two kids in every classroom have a food allergy.

While at Expo West this week, Seeing Green visited with Abe’s Muffins to hear directly from the team about how they’re making school treats more inclusive.

Abe’s produces vegan mini muffins and cupcakes designed so kids with food allergies can safely participate in classroom celebrations. Everything is free from major allergens like dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy and sesame.

In this video, hear how Abe's focuses on simple ingredients and clean labels, avoiding artificial colors and flavors. Even seasonal treats like their Valentine’s cupcakes use natural ingredients like beetroot powder to create color instead of synthetic dyes.

In our “Inside Expo West” series, Seeing Green brings you inside access to the founders, innovators and disruptors shaping the products and trends that will soon show up on grocery shelves, in kitchens and in homes.
