While at Natural Products Expo West, Seeing Green spoke with Mark Sorenson, co-founder of Cleanery, about how the brand is rethinking everyday cleaning products to dramatically reduce packaging waste and emissions.
Cleanery delivers its multi-purpose cleaners, dish sprays and hand soaps as concentrated powder refills. Consumers simply add water to a reusable bottle, shake the powder and create a ready-to-use cleaning solution. By removing the need to ship water around the world in bulky single-use plastic bottles, the company is tackling one of the largest hidden impacts of the cleaning and personal care industry.
In this conversation, Mark demonstrates several of Cleanery’s products featured at Expo West, including refillable multi-purpose cleaners, hand soaps made with natural ingredients and essential oils and a dish spray designed to simplify everyday cleaning. The brand’s approach helps reduce plastic waste, cut emissions from shipping and give consumers a lighter, more sustainable alternative to traditional liquid cleaners.
