During our recent visit to Expo West, one of the largest gatherings of natural and organic food companies, we spotted a range of snack brands showcasing new takes on savory favorites.
Some companies are reinventing traditional snacks like chips and pretzels, while others are expanding into categories like plant-based jerky, dips and snack bars. Together they reflect how the snack category continues to evolve as consumers look for options that combine great taste with ingredients and sourcing that feel better aligned with healthier lifestyles and a more sustainable food system.
